Dragon Book-end

He was a joy to behold,

A book-end dragon of silver and gold,

Of strong resin he was made,

But also had some bits of black and red,

Surely every book's delight,

As he was such a really handsome sight,

On the seventh shelf he sat,

A guardian to keep all the books intact.
