Christmas Tree

I watched entranced the tiny lights,
Hanging and twinkling on the tree,
Shimmers of red and silvered gold,
And dangling gifts for you and me.

Tiny bells rang their silent joy,
The candles cast their haunting glow,
Angels holding their little harps,
Stars glittered amidst cottoned snow.

A reindeer drew a frosted sleigh,
With Santa waving to us all,
The tree was such a joyous sight,
Though standing only three feet tall.
