Careful Thinking

Everyone tries his very best,
To do the correct things in life,
The schoolboy has to pass his test,
The young man wants a pretty wife;

The businessman his eyes are glued,
To scrutinise his profits' sheet,
The shopper tries not to get screwed,
Lusty husband tries not to cheat;

Everyday we have to decide,
Whether it's buying cars or bread,
We may have to reject offers,
To find alternatives instead,

So whatever we have to do,
We should carefully think things through.
